"John Wick: Chapter 3-Parabellum"~ Action Movie King, You'll Know His Name (SPOILER FREE)
Updated: Mar 20, 2020
John Wick: Chapter 3-Parabellum (2019) is a movie that I had been anticipating for months and man was I ready. Sadly, I never saw the first two on the big screen and wanted the chance to see this. I got it, and it was worth the wait. Read here how it shapes up to the predecessors! Also, no spoilers here!!!
Let's say what we have said before. Keanu Reeves is great as John Wick. The man is 54 years old and still does these crazy stunts. I'm in my 20s and can't, so it is time to get on that. The story takes place exactly when the second one leaves off. The beginning is pretty crazy. It is fast-moving, smart, and wildly entertaining. My girlfriend asked me how the movie was, and my response was "I can breathe now." That's almost not an exaggeration. There are a few moments of relief but not many.
Every actor and actress in the movie is great casting. Halle Berry is perfect in her role. Her dogs add some spice to the movie in great scenes but don't worry cat lovers because there is one of those too.
I personally enjoyed a scene with actor Jerome Flynn. His most recent rise to fame is a popular character from HBO's Game of Thrones. Asia Kate Dillon, Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, Lance Riddick, and Mark Dacascos all are exceptional too. Without giving anything away, my favorite action scene involves lots of knives in a museum, so look out for that moment. You do learn a little more about John Wick's past. You find out where he is from and how he trained to be the man he is today. Lots of violence, drama, and some twists are littered throughout the movie. Action fans should be well pleased.
I cannot think of any major problems with the movie even after a couple of days, so let's leave this paragraph finished.
Overall, it may well be the best John Wick movie. All three are so epic that it is hard to pick. Gun to my head, and I will probably pick John Wick: Chapter Three-Parabellum. Also, it is the best movie of the summer so far.My movie rating is A+.
