Recently, we polled our viewers on what film company openings are best. This list compiles those votes and glimpses into their various evolutions. If you readers enjoy this, we will compile more intros in the future. Read here!
1) Walt Disney Pictures
Two classic openings battled it out with Disney winning a narrow victory. We always think of the classic castle imagery. Do you remember what the first one looks like from 1985? Swipe through the photos here to see the evolution!
It's come a long way with a huge jump in 2006. 3-D became the model with the classic song you hum along with. Do you agree it's the best?
2) 20th Century Fox
This intro narrowly lost to Disney, but it's undeniably classic. Everyone can hear the drumbeat begin as we circle around the iconic logo. Yes, I know that Disney owns them now. However, the Mickey Mouse guys aren't responsible for this intro, so it stands on its own. Swipe through the evolution!
As you can see, there isn't much change needed. The colors have some small alterations also going to 3-D in the '90s. I do think the switch to a purple twilight background is excellent and think it should continue to say.
3. Universal Pictures
I really enjoy seeing the Universal globe at the park in Orlando. It's the same type shown before each film, and I consider it iconic too. This is partly because Universal is the OLDEST American film company narrowly beating Paramount. The central globe is the only unchanging aspect. Compare our current one to the original from 1912!
